This is a high performance semi-synthetic water-based lubricant developed for medium to large aluminum and magnesium die casting applications. The chemically balanced blend of lubricants, unique polymers, wetting and anti-solder additives withstand thermal degradation at core and other high-temperature areas of the die where soldering can occur. CAST-RITE 3175 provides exceptional wetting and bonding to the die surface over a broad temperature spectrum from 250。F(122。C) to over 600。F(315。C) without compromise. which helps increase overall production rates by maximizing the cooling efficiencies of the die's surface.
