Re-melting of aluminum involves continuously adding scrap aluminum or secondary aluminum alloy ingots. As the temperature rises and during stirring operations, hydrogen and oxygen are continuously absorbed into the molten aluminum.
When the aluminum melt contains excessive gases, it leads to defects such as porosity, pinholes, and slag inclusion in castings. The purpose of using aluminum melt cleaning agents is to remove gases and effectively prevent these issues.
At the same time, it also helps recover metallic aluminum from aluminum dross, improving the recycling rate.

▶ Function
- After adding the aluminum cleaning agent, the generated slag covers the surface of the molten aluminum, helping to retain heat and reduce gas absorption.
- It melts and removes oxides and impurities from the aluminum melt, preventing the formation of slag holes and hard spots.
- It allows for the recovery of metallic aluminum from the floating slag, improving the recycling rate.
- Easy to operate.
▶ Instructions for Use
- The amount to be added depends on the cleanliness of the aluminum material, and should be adjusted accordingly. Add in 2 to 3 stages during the re-melting process.
- The temperature should be approximately above 660°C.
- After adding the aluminum slag remover, stir thoroughly for 2 to 3 minutes. If the purpose is slag removal, it is necessary to press the agent into the molten aluminum to facilitate the dissolution of its oxides.
- Skim off the slag and, after the cleaning process is completed, proceed with further degassing and refinement treatments.
