It is a heavy-duty, oil based refractory coating for both ferrous and non-ferrous foundry applications. LANCER 288 LAD provides an exceptionally tenacious barrier coating for protection of ladles and foundry equipment from molten aluminum. LANCER 288 LAD is formulated with high temperature additives and proprietary binders effectively preventing the degradation of the steel surface of foundry components.
